I'm not sure what boat I have but I love it.  I call it an Americat 3014.  My boat was built in Clearwater FL 3/18/92 by American Cruising Yacht Corp and Harold C. Barrett supervised the construction.  It was first registered as Audreys Cat.  From there it came to Bayboro NC and was registered as Sails Incentive.  I bought her 8/09/97 renamed her Detour and have sailed out of Oriental, NC since then.  I mainly daysail as a cruiser/racer.  It is nice to find a group that has something in common with my Detour.

Welcome aboard!
I moved this topic from sails & rigging to the General discussion. I found my boat up river from you in New Bern. The manufacturer ID code that prefixes your hull number can be cross referenced on the USCG website. It will confirm who built your boat. Either way it is the same hull mold as the other models. The Americat 3014 was one of the models manufactured under contract with Endeavour. You may find labels on the fuel tank, etc. That indicate the part was sold/shipped to Endeavour. Either way, I agree. You have a nice boat!

Just enter the letters that prefix your Hull ID into the field titled "MIC"
