Food is one of my favorite subjects when it comes to boating. A happy crew is a well fed crew. Cold libations hurt nothing either.I think I have tried about anything I could find that was precooked , interestingly packaged or just caught my fancy. One favorite , that has become hard to find is precooked and seasoned hamburger. A company named Jack Links produce this product in two varieties. One was Mexican flavored and the other a medium spicy. Vacumn sealed you fot the equivelant of a pound of burger after cooking. Great tacos etc as well as good with spaghetti sauce.
DelMonte has sliced or diced tomatoes in jars that are pretty good. Not fresh by any means but take them from the jar and pat them dry. Works with salads and sandwiches.
I have purchased a variety of meats ( pork/chicken/beef/hamburger ) that is precooked in the can. I found them to be excellent but they are pricey!
Speaking of food it is supper time.
